J. McLaughlin`s Hobe Sound store is located off US-1 and A1A on SE Dixie Highway near Jupiter Island and Gomez Road. This small, historic community is a getaway destination between the months of November and May, with high season running January through April. Seasonal residents and vacationers love to spend long days at the beach and on the golf course. Popular activities include fishing, boating, shopping, dining out, or simply catching some rays beneath the Florida sunshine. When in town, take a drive down Bridge Road to see the beautiful Banyan trees and canopies. Spend the day searching for trinkets and treasures at Juno Girl, Posh Pineapple, and Lavish Palm. For a fresh seafood meal, we recommend Citron Bistro, owned by founding brother Jay McLaughlin. J. McLaughlin is also a part of the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce and participates in citywide events including the annual Art Walk and Holiday Parade.
